Notes

  • You can replace the almond flour with all-purpose flour.
  • For all-purpose flour cake, adjust the sugar to 3/4 – 1 cup.
  • It is recommended to use the hand mixer, stand mixer may harden the cake.
  • You can sprinkle some sliced almonds on top of the cake.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup Almond Flour
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 6 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch Salt
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350-degree Fahrenheit.

  2. Grease a 9-inch square pan, and line it with parchment paper.

  3. Separate the eggs carefully, keep the egg yolks and whites in two separate bowls.

  4. Mix 2 tsp of sugar with egg whites. Whip the egg whites with a hand mixer, till the egg whites form a soft peak.

  5. In another bowl, add egg yolks, remaining sugar, salt, baking powder, and vanilla extract.

  6. Beat till the mixture becomes soft and fluffy.

  7. Now add the almond flour.

  8. Combine everything well, now add egg whites little by little, mix gently.

  9. Transfer the batter to the pan.

  10. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or till golden brown.

  11. Once done, remove it from the oven and cool it down.

  12. Dust with sugar powder and serve.

7. Now add the almond flour.

8. Mix everything well.

9.  Now add egg whites little by little.

10. Mix gently.
