Wheat flour Halwa

Ingredients
  • Wheat flour - 1/2 cup
  • Sugar - 1 cup + 2 tbsp
  • Ghee - 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp
  • Cashews - 1/4 cup 
Instructions
  1. Heat 1/2 cup of ghee in a pan.

  2. When the ghee is hot add 1/4 cup of cashews and fry.

  3. When the cashews are golden brown, set them aside.

  4. In the same frying pan add 1/2 cup of wheat flour.

  5. Fry well until the raw smell leaves.

  6. While the wheat flour is frying, add 2 cups of water to a bowl.

  7. After the water boils well, add half the amount of boiling water to the roasted wheat flour.

  8. Now you can see that the flour is boiling.

  9. Add the remaining half the amount of boiling water.

  10. Stir continuously.

  11. Add 2 tbsp of sugar to a bowl and add a little water and bring to a boil.

  12. Once the sugar is golden and caramelized, add it to the prepared wheat flour mixture.

  13. After mixing well, add 1 cup of sugar.

  14. Stir continuously.

  15. Once the wheat flour and sugar are well combined, add the roasted cashew nuts.

  16. Add 2 tbsp ghee.

  17. Stir continuously for 2 to 3 minutes.

  18. Transfer to a plate after the ghee has separated at the edges or when it does not stick to the pan. 

  19. Delicious wheat flour halwa is ready to serve.
