Spicy Indian Style Burger

Ingredients
Paneer Cutlet
  • Paneer - 200g
  • Maida - ½ cup - 70g
  • Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Kashmiri chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Crushed pepper - ½ tsp
  • Garam masala - ½ tsp 
  • Salt - as needed
  • Oil - for frying
  • Bread Crumbs - as needed
Burger Sauce
  • Mayonnaise - 4 tsp
  • Chili Sauce - 2 tsp
  • Tomato Ketchup - 2 tsp
Other Ingredients
  • Burger Buns - 4
  • Butter - 4 tsp
  • Cheese Slices - 4
  • Sliced Onion - as needed
  • Sliced tomato - as needed
  • Lettuce - as needed 
Instructions
  1. Cut 200g of paneer to the size of a palm about ½ inch thick.

  2. In a bowl add ½ cup of maida and 1 tsp ginger garlic paste.

  3. Add 1 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder, ½ tsp crushed pepper, ½  tsp of garam masala and the required salt.

  4. Add a little water to it and mix it into the medium-thick batter.

  5. Now take the paneer pieces one by one and dip them in the prepared batter. 

  6. Roll in the bread crumbs.

  7. Now fry in oil.

  8. Put on medium heat and fry until lightly browned.

  9. When the paneer cutlet is ready, place a slice of cheese on it while it is still hot.

  10. To make burger sauce, take 4 tsp of mayonnaise in a bowl.

  11. Add 2 tsp tomato sauce and 2 tsp ketchup.

  12. Mix it well and set it aside.

  13. Heat 1 tsp of butter in tawa, cut the burger buns into 2, toast the burger buns on the inside.

  14. When lightly browned, set aside. Finely chop the onion and tomato. 

  15. Place bun pieces on chopping board, apply a generous spoon of burger sauce.

  16. Place the prepared paneer cutlets and cheese on the base of the bun. 

  17. Then place tomatoes, onions, and lettuce.

  18. Cover it with the top of the burger bun. Press it slightly.

  19. A delicious paneer burger is ready to serve.
