Stuffed Chili Bajji is a perfect tea time snack, Bajji milagai/banana pepper filled with potato, onion, and other Indian spices and herbs dipped in gram flour batter and deep-fried in oil. I tried it once last month, it came out very well. I made small alterations according to my taste.
Wash and pressure cook potatoes, once done mash them.
Finely chop onion and coriander leaves.
In a bowl add mashed potatoes, chopped onion, coriander leaves, turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, asafoetida, and salt.
Mix everything well, set aside.
In a bowl add gram flour, rice flour, chilli powder, turmeric powder, Kashmiri chilli powder, asafoetida, and salt.
Mix everything well, add water little by little, make a smooth batter.

Fill potato stuffing into the chilli.
Meanwhile, heat oil in a pan.
Dip the stuffed chilli in the batter, fry it in the hot oil, till golden brown.
