A Potato Sandwich is a bread sandwich made with potato seasoning. One of the favourite foods of kids and toddlers, suitable for breakfast and lunch. You can use any type of bread such as white bread, brown bread or multigrain bread.

Ingredients
  • 6 Bread slices
  • 1 Potato
  • 1/4 cup Green beans
  • 1/4 cup Peas
  • 1/4 cup Carrots
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • 1 Onion
  • Salt as needed
  • 1/2 tsp Chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp Garam masala powder
  • 3 Cheese slice
  • 2 tsp Butter
Instructions
  1. Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onion and saute for a minute.

  2. Add chopped beans, carrots and peas.

  3. Add salt, chilli powder and garam masala powder.

  4. Add water and cook covered for a few minutes.

  5. Add the cooked potatoes, mix well and mash them with the masher.

  6. Once done, set aside.

  7. In 2 bread slices, spread the potato masala.

  8. Add a slice of cheese to one slice of bread and cover with another slice of bread so the cheese slice will stay in the middle.

  9. Apply butter on the outer side of both slices.

  10. Toast on a medium flame until light brown.

  11. Cut the sandwich and serve hot with ketchup.
