A delicious combination of chocolate and vanilla cake. This is very simple to do at home. With the basic ingredients needed to make the cake, you can make a delicious cake. It is also known as zebra cake.
- Butter - 150g
- Sugar - 1.25 cup - 250g
- Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
- Eggs - 4
- Milk - ½ cup - 125ml
- Maida - 2 cups - 280g
- Baking powder - 1 tsp
- Cocoa powder - 3 tbsp

In a bowl, add 150g of butter.

Include 1/4 cup of sugar. Use a hand mixer gently. Then gradually add the remaining sugar and mix it softly.

Next, include an egg and 1 tsp. of vanilla extract.

Add the remaining eggs one at a time and beat after each addition until the mixture is light and fluffy.

Then stir in 1/2 cup of milk.

To this, add 2 cups of maida.

Add one teaspoon of baking powder next.

Gently combine these.

Once the batter has been blended, take half of it and set it aside.

Mix half portion with 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder.

To 180C/360F, preheat the oven.

A cake pan should be lightly oiled and lined with parchment paper.

Alternately layer the prepared chocolate cake batter and vanilla cake batter.

Then stir with a toothpick or skewer.

Bake for 45 to 55 minutes in the oven.

Cut it into small pieces after allowing it to cool.
