Mushroom Masala is a quick and tasty dish that goes well with freshly baked bread, naan and rice varieties. There are many types of mushroom masala, such as mushroom curry, mushroom gravy and Kadai mushroom. Each mushroom dish has a unique taste.
Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onions and cook till it becomes soft and tender.
Add ginger-garlic paste and saute till the raw smell goes off.
Add chopped coriander leaves and mint leaves.
Add chopped green chilis.
Add the chopped tomatoes and cook till tomatoes become mushy.
Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala and chilli powder and cook for 5-8 minutes or until moisture is absorbed.
Now add sliced mushroom and mix gently.
Add little water and cook covered for 5-8 minutes.
Serve hot with roti or rice.
