Easy desi style burger

Ingredients
  • 2 Burger buns
  • 3 Potatoes
  • 2 tsp Oil
  • 2 tsp Butter
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 2 tsp Chopped garlic
  • 2 tsp Chopped ginger
  • 3 tsp Chopped onion
  • 3 tsp Chopped capsicum
  • Few Coriander leaves
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder
  • Salt as needed
  • 1 Tomato
  • 1 tsp Tomato ketchup
  • 1 tsp Szechuan sauce
  • 1/4 cup Cheddar/Mozzarella cheese shredded
Instructions
  1. In a tawa , heat 2 tsp of oil and 1 tsp of butter.

  2. Add 1/2 tsp cumin seeds and saute for a minute.

  3. Add 2 tsp chopped garlic, and 2 tsp chopped ginger, cook until the raw smell leaves.

  4. Add 3 tsp chopped onion and stir.

  5. Add 3 tsp of chopped capsicum.

  6. Saute and cook covered for 2 - 3 minutes.

  7. Add chopped coriander leaves and mix well.

  8. Add required salt, 1/2 tsp garam masala, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, and 1 tsp red chilli powder, and mix well.

  9. Add 1 chopped tomato and cook until it becomes soft.

  10. Add 1 tsp tomato ketchup and 1 tsp Szechuan sauce and combine well.

  11. Add 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese and cook until the cheese melts.

  12. Add boiled potatoes and mix well and keep them aside.

  13. Cut the burger buns in half.

  14. Heat 1 tsp of butter and add the bun, toast for a few seconds.

  15. Place 2 - 3 tsp of aloo masala, and add some chopped onion and tomato.

  16. Close the bun and serve hot.

Recipe Notes
  • You can add both oil and butter, or you can cook only with the butter to make it delicious.
  • You can use any of your favourite vegetables like french beans, beetroot, or peas.
  • You can add scrambled paneer along with boiled potato.
  • You can replace one cup of scrambled paneer with boiled potato for a tawa paneer burger.
  • Szechuan sauce is optional or you can replace it with chilli sauce.
  • You can add shredded cheese along with chopped onion and tomato(before closing the bun).
  • You can use either cheddar or mozzarella cheese.
