Mixed vegetable rice cake

Ingredients
  • 1 Carrot (chopped)
  • 1 Potato (chopped)
  • 1 Onion (chopped)
  • Few Coriander leaves
  • 2 cups Idli batter
  • 1 tsp Chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp Oil
  • Salt as needed
Instructions
  1. Heat oil in a pan, add the chopped onions and cook till it becomes translucent.

  2. Add the chopped carrot, potato, coriander leaves and sauté for a minute.

  3. Now add the salt, chilli powder, and turmeric powder.

  4. Add a little water, and cook covered for 5 minutes or till the water is absorbed.

  5. Mix the vegetable mixture with the idli batter and make idlis.

  6. Let it steam for 15 minutes.

  7. Serve hot with chutney or sambar.
