veg fried rice made with paneer
Cut 300 gm paneer into ¼ inch thick pieces.
Add ½ cup of curd to a bowl. Add ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp chili powder, ½ tsp garam masala, 1 tsp red chilli powder, ½ tsp cumin powder, and salt as needed and mix.
Marinate for 10 minutes with the chopped paneer pieces.
Then, heat some oil in a pan and add the soaked paneer pieces one at a time.
Cook over low heat until golden brown.
Cook until both sides are golden brown, then set aside.
Wash and soak 300g basmati rice for 15 minutes.
Filter the water after 15 minutes.
Put some water on to boil. Add 1 tsp of cooking oil and 1 tsp of salt to it.
After that, stir in the soaked basmati rice.
Cover it and simmer it.
Drain water when it has boiled 90% and then let it cool.
Then pour 2 tsp of frying oil into a large pan.
To the heated oil, add the finely diced white portion of the spring onion.
Sauté two carrots as well as the peas.
Then, add the cabbage and capsicum, along with the salt to taste.
Next, mince the green portion of the spring onion and add 2 tsp of soy sauce and 1.5 tsp of chilli sauce.
Then add the rice and mix.
Then add some spring onion and prepared paneer and mix.
Finally, add a tsp of pepper powder and stir without breaking the rice and switch off the stove.
Delicious paneer fried rice is ready to serve.
