Bread Cutlet is a quick and easy snack. It is prepared with bread, chopped vegetables, and boiled corn and potatoes. Perfect tea time snack and a good choice for kids' snacks box. Delicious starter/appetizer for parties and potlucks. Bread cutlet goes well with Indian green chutney, tomato sauce, and mayonnaise.
Cut and remove the brown borders of the bread and cut it into small pieces.
Mash the boiled potatoes.
Add the bread pieces.
Now add 1/4 cup finely chopped onion, 1/4 cup chopped carrots, chopped coriander leaves, 1/4 cup boiled corn.
Add 1/2 tsp cumin seeds, 1/2 tsp crushed pepper, 1/2 tsp coriander powder, tsp chili powder.
Combine everything well.
Now add the required salt and 1 tsp oil.
Mix well and make a nonsticky dough.
Make small patties.
Roll patties in the bread crumbs.
Fry in medium heat oil for 2 - 3 minutes.
Cook until golden brown.
Once done, drain and keep it in the kitchen paper.
Serve hot.
