Poha milk kheer
Add 1 litre of milk to a pan.
Boil on medium heat once done, keep it aside.
Add 1 tsp of ghee to a pan and when the ghee is hot add 10 - 15 cashew nuts lightly chopped.
Put on medium heat and fry till golden brown.
Then take it apart.
Then in the same pan add 1/2 cup of aval.
Roast till slightly brown and aromatic.
Then add boiled milk.
Put on medium heat and cook until the poha becomes soft.
In a bowl, add 1/2 cup of jaggery.
Add a little water and bring to a boil over medium heat.
Once the poha cooked well, filter and add the jaggery syrup.
Then boil for 2 - 3 minutes.
Now add the roasted cashew nuts.
Add 1/4 tsp of cardamom powder and mix well.
Delicious aval payasam is ready to serve.
