Almond milk powder premix

Ingredients
  • Almonds - 1 cup (150g)
  • Pistachio - 1 cup (30g)
  • Cardamom - 1 tsp
  • Sugar - 1 cup (200g)
  • Turmeric powder  - ¼ tsp
  • Saffron - 1 pinch
Instructions
  1. Add 1 cup of almonds to a pan over medium heat. Fry for 2 minutes.

  2. Then add ¼ cup of pistachio nuts and 1 tsp of cardamom.

  3. Put on medium heat and fry till it changes colour slightly and smells good.

  4. After frying, pour them on a plate and let cool.

  5. Add a cup of sugar to a mixing jar.

  6. Add ¼ tsp of turmeric powder and a pinch of saffron.

  7. Finely grind it.

  8. Then add the roasted almonds, pistachios, and cardamom 

  9. Grind it into a light crumb.

  10. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 months.

  11.  Add 1.5 to 2 tsp of almond milk powder to hot or warm milk, mix well (add sugar if necessary), serve hot or refrigerate and serve chilled.
