Crispy chicken fry

Ingredients
To Marinate
  • 500 grams Boneless Chicken
  • Salt as needed
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder
  • 1 tsp Chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp Crushed pepper
  • 2 tsp Cornflour
  • 2 tsp Maida/All purpose
  • 1 Lemon (juice)
  • 1 Egg
Other Ingredients
  • Oil for frying
  • Few Green chilis
  • Few Curry leaves
Instructions
  1. Wash the chicken, and cut into medium-sized pieces.

  2. Add required salt,1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chili powder.

  3. Add 1 tsp chili powder, 1/2 tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp crushed pepper.

  4. Add 2 tsp cornflour, 2 tsp maida, juice of 1 lemon, and 1 egg.

  5. Combine everything well.
  6. Marinate for 15-20 minutes.

  7. Heat oil in a pan, add chicken pieces one by one.
  8. After 1 or 2 minutes, flip it to the other side.

  9. Cook till golden color.

  10. Once done, drain t in a paper towel.
  11. Add a few curry leaves and few green chilis.

  12. Fry for a minute, and drain.

  13. Mix it with fried chicken.

  14. Serve hot.
Recipe Notes
  • You can adjust the chili powder according to your taste.
  • You can add half tsp of ginger garlic paste and garam masala to make it more flavorful.
  • You can toss the fried chicken with soy sauce, chili sauce, diced onion, and diced capsicum.
  • You can add 1 tsp of rice flour more crispiness.
  • You can replace the egg with 1/4 cup of thick curd.
