Indian style Tomato Spaghetti is a blend of spaghetti with Indian herbs and spices. It is different from the usual Indian lunch items. It is a delicious, simple and filling meal.
Cook the spaghetti according to the instructions in the pack or boil a lot of water in a pot, add 1 tsp of oil and a generous amount of salt and add the pasta. Cook for 10-12 minutes. When done, drain the water, rinse with tap water and toss with olive oil. Set aside.
Chop onions and tomato and cut capsicum into your desired size.
Heat 1 tsp of oil in a pan, add onions, saute till it becomes translucent.
Add the spring onions and cook for a minute.
Add ginger-garlic paste and cook till the raw smell goes off.
Add the chopped tomatoes and cook till it becomes mushy.
Add salt, chilli powder and garam masala powder.
Now add a little water, and cook until the oil oozes from the sides.
Add the capsicum and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
Add pasta, mix everything well.
Cook for 2-3 minutes on a medium flame.
Serve hot.
