Crispy Diwali Snack
Add 1 cup of besan to a bowl, along with 2 tsp of rice flour, the required amount of salt, and ¼ tsp of turmeric powder.
Add a pinch of baking soda to it.
Once mixed then add a little water and mix without lumps.
Then add ¼ tsp of asafoetida.
Add the required amount of water and mix to make dosa batter consistency.
Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
Pour a little batter into a boondi ladle or filter spoon. You can see boondis drop on oil.
Fry until golden brown.
Then drain the oil and set it aside.
Then add ¼ cup of peanuts and fry over medium heat.
Fry until golden/crispy and set aside.
Turn off the stove and fry with a little curry leaves.
In a bowl, add the prepared boondi, peanuts and curry leaves.
Add the required amount of salt.
Then add the required amount of chilli powder and mix.
Crunchy kara boondi is ready to serve.
