Quinoa is a grain that provides, protein, fibre, B vitamins, and dietary minerals. There are lots of Quinoa recipes popular all over the world like quinoa salad, quinoa soup, slaw, quinoa chicken. Quinoa idli/dosa is a healthy breakfast.
In a bowl add quinoa, idli rice, and urad dal, rinse 2-3 times and soak in plenty of water.
In a small bowl add fenugreek seeds, rinse and soak separately.
Soak everything for 4 - 6 hours.
Once done, in a mixer jar or wet grinder, add fenugreek seeds and grind.
Then add quinoa, urad dal and idli rice mixture.
Make it a soft and fluffy paste.
Add salt and mix well.
Ferment the batter for 6 to 8 hours.
Mix the fermented batter well. Grease the idli moulds with oil, pour the batter and steam cook for 8 -10 minutes.
Serve hot with chutney or sambar.
