Peanut chutney is a yummy side dish for breakfast items like idli, dosa, paniyaram, upma, and uthappam. This is a super quick dish, suitable for busy mornings, it is easy to make and you can refrigerate for 3 to 4 days. For peanut chutney, dry roast peanuts and then grind it with either green chilis or red chilis and salt. If you like you can add 3 or 4 tsp of grated coconut.

- 1/4 cup Peanuts
- 4 Red chilis
- 1/2 tsp Oil
- Tamarind a small piece
- Salt as needed
- 1 tsp Oil
- 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
- Few Curry leaves

Heat oil in a pan and add peanuts and roast for 2 to 4 minutes.

Once it turns brown, add red chilis and roast for a minute.

Then add a small piece of tamarind and turn off the flame.

Add the roasted peanuts, red chilis, tamarind and salt to a mixer jar and grind it as a smooth paste.

Heat oil in a small pan, add mustard seeds when it pops add curry leaves.

Now add the seasoning with chutney, serve hot with idli or dosa.
