Mango Pachadi
Mango/Maanga pachadi is famous TamilNadu recipe especially prepared on Tamil New Year day. It is a kind of recipe with sweet, spicy, and tangy tastes in one dish. In India, mango season is on April, May, and June. You can see varieties of mangoes in the market like Alphonso, Badami, Chaunsa, Dasheri, Kesar, Malgova, Neelam.
For making pachadi Totapuri mango is the best choice. If it is not available then you can use any kind of Mango. While making pachadi for Tamil New Year it is used to temper with Neem flower. I don’t have neem flower which will give a nice aroma and mild bitterness to the dish.
