Carrot roti is a healthy and delicious roti made with wheat flour, carrot, ginger, and chilli.

I have added all the ingredients together and made roti dough or you can saute carrot, ginger and chilli with little oil and stuff them in the roti dough to make carrot stuffed roti.

Both methods are delicious. Carrot roti goes well with all kinds of subzi and curry.  It is a perfect lunch box dish for kids.

Ingredients
  • 3 Carrots
  • 1 cup Wheat flour
  • Few Coriander leaves
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 2 Green Chilis
  • Salt as needed
  • 1 tsp Oil
Instructions
  1. Wash, peel and grate carrots, chop the green chilis, ginger, and coriander leaves.

  2. In a bowl add wheat flour, grated carrot, ginger, chillis, coriander leaves, and salt.

  3. Mix everything with little water, make a soft dough.

  4. Make small lemon sized balls.

  5. Dust the dough balls with wheat flour.

  6. Roll it into a 5-inch diameter.

  7. Heat a skillet, place paratha.

  8. Cook for a few minutes, and flip it.

  9. Cook till brown spots appear.

  10. Serve hot.
