Mushroom Masala is a quick and tasty dish that goes well with freshly baked bread, naan and rice varieties. There are many types of mushroom masala, such as mushroom curry, mushroom gravy and Kadai mushroom. Each mushroom dish has a unique taste. To make the mushroom masala thick or creamy or semi-gravy, add cashew nut paste.
Notes
- You can use white or brown mushrooms, I used button mushrooms for this recipe.
- Adding capsicum along with mushrooms will enhance the flavour.
- Adding more water after the mushrooms have been added will turn the dish watery, as mushrooms also release water.
