- 1 cup Oats
- 1 cup Rava
- 2 Carrots
- 1/4 cup Curd
- Salt as needed
- 1/4 tsp Baking soda
- 2 tsp Oil
- 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
- Few Curry leaves
- Few Coriander leaves
- 1 tsp Chana dal
- 10 Cashew nuts
- 1 inch Ginger
- 3 green chillis

Wash and grate carrots and keep them aside.

Chop curry leaves, coriander leaves, ginger, and chilis.

In a mixer jar, add oats and make a fine powder.

Heat 1 tsp of oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, allow them to crackle and add curry leaves and coriander leaves.

Add chana dal, cook for a minute.

Add cashews roast till golden colour.

Add chopped ginger and green chilis, saute for a minute.

Now add shredded carrots, cook for 2-3 minutes and turn off the flame.

Heat 1 tsp oil in another pan and fry the semolina.

Add the oats and cook until it smells good and turn off the heat.

In a bowl, add the roasted oats and rava mixture, tempering, curd, salt, and mix well.

Keep it aside for 15-20 minutes.

Now add the baking soda, mix everything well, and add a little water if required.

Make sure the batter is thick.

Grease the idli moulds, pour the batter, and steam cook for 8 to 10 minutes.

Serve hot with chutney or sambar.

16. Now add the baking soda, mix well, and add water if required. Make sure the batter is thick.
17. Grease the idli moulds, pour the batter, and steam cook for 8 to 10 minutes.
18. Serve hot with chutney or sambar.
