Rajma/kidney beans Sundal is a very tasty and healthy snack item. You can make varieties of dishes with rajma like rajma chawal, rajma masala/ kurma etc., You can make rajma sundal easily by following simple steps.
- 1 cup Rajma/Kidney beans
- 1 tsp Oil
- 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
- Few Curry leaves
- 1 Red chili
- 1/4 cup Chopped onion
- Coriander leaves for Garnishing
- Salt as needed

Soak kidney beans overnight or at least 8 hours.

Pressure cook rajma for 2 whistles and drain water. (Add needed salt)

Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and allow it to pop. Add curry leaves and red chili.

Then add cooked rajma.

Gently mix everything and turn off the flame and add chopped onion.

Finally, garnish with coriander leaves.
- You can add shredded coconut before turn off the flame.
- Apart from red chili, you can add chopped green chilis too for spiciness.
- If you want to enhance the taste, you can add 1/2 Tsp of chat masala.
