Sweet Neer Kozhukattai/ Neer urundai made with rice flour and jaggery. It is a popular evening snack around the places of Thiruvarur and Tanjore districts. It is an easy and tasty snack. it is almost like Uppu Kozhukattai it is one of the kid’s favorite snacks.
- Rice flour – 1 cup
- Jaggery – ¼ cup
- Salt as needed
- Oil – 1 tsp

Boil 1.5 cups of water in a pan add oil and salt.

Add rice flour and combine with a spatula.

When it becomes crumbly texture turnoff the flame.

Grease your fingers, knead the dough gently and make it a soft dough and cool it down.

Once done, divide the dough into small balls.

Break the jaggery and make it as small pieces.

Add a small piece of jaggery in each dough ball.

Cover the jaggery and make small balls.

Steam cook for 8-10 minutes.
