Eggless chocolate cake is a recipe, it is a soft and fluffy cake. You can prepare it without egg, butter, condensed milk, or even without an oven. There are lots of chocolate cake recipes with butter and egg. This is a basic chocolate cake, you can decorate with buttercream or fresh cream frosting, or you can decorate with Nutella or melted dark chocolate with butter.

We can make many variations with chocolate cakes like a layer cake, fudge cake, chocolate souffle cake, molten cake, black forest cake, swiss roll, and many more. Every cake has a unique taste and texture, chocolate brownies are a popular chocolate cake variety served with ice cream. Though eggs give a fluffiness to the cakes, you can make the fluffy cake without eggs, you can use butter and condensed milk or milk, oil, and lemon juice.

Notes

  • While preparing a chocolate cake, you can use all-purpose flour/ maida, or you can use whole wheat flour if you want to make it healthier.
  • For frosting mix butter and dark chocolate and melt on double boiler method.
  • The heat of a stove and temperature of the oven may vary, so insert a toothpick/stick if it comes out clean, the cake is ready.
  • Whenever you make a cake, cool down completely before you make the frosting.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour/Maida
  • 1/4 cup Cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 5 tsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Vanilla essence
  • Butter/Oil for greasing
Instructions
  1. In a small bowl add 1/2 cup of milk and 1 tsp of lemon juice.

  2. Mix well and keep it aside.

  3. In a wide bowl add 1 cup all-purpose flour, 1/4 cup cocoa powder, and 1 tsp baking powder.

  4. Sift the dry ingredients.

  5. Add 3/4 cup sugar and combine.

  6. Now add milk and lemon juice mixture.

  7. Add 5 tsp oil and 1 tsp vanilla essence.

  8. Mix everything well, add a little more milk if needed for flowing consistency batter.

  9. Preheat the oven to 360F/180C, Heat a pan with a wire rack inside and cover it.

  10. Grease a pan with butter/oil and line with parchment paper.

  11. Pour batter and tap twice.

  12. Keep it in the preheated oven or hot pan.

  13. Bake on 360F/180C for 40-45 minutes or cook on low flame for 40-50 minutes.

  14. Once done insert a toothpick, if it comes out clean, the cake is ready.

  15. Soft and delicious cake is ready.
