Although there are many different types of cookies available in stores, homemade, fresh from the oven, are always special to our family. It is easy to prepare, tastes amazing.

Notes

  • You can replace granulated sugar with maple syrup.
  • You can try without the chocolate chips, which is also good.
  • Variations can be made with dried coconut, dried fruit or chopped nuts.
  • If you want to make it crunchy, you can add almond flour and white flour in a 1: 1 ratio (if you are adding white flour, add 2 cups butter) the other steps will be the same.
  • Instead of cardamom powder, you can add 1 tsp vanilla essence.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups Almond flour
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp Cardamom powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Vinegar
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350-degree Fahrenheit or 175-degree Celsius.

  2. Add almond flour, melted butter, sugar, cardamom powder, baking powder, and vinegar to a bowl.

  3. Combine everything well, and add semi-sweetened chocolate chips.

  4. Make it a soft and moist dough, if it is crumbly add 1 or 2 tsp more butter.

  5. Either spread the dough evenly on the countertop, cut it with a cookie cutter or make even sized dough balls and flatten.

  6. Place it on the baking tray, bake for 10-12 minutes, or until light brown on the bottom, once done let it cool completely.

  7. Store it in an airtight container.

1. Add 2 cups of blanched almond flour to a bowl.

 5. Make it a soft and moist dough.

 6. Spread the dough evenly on the parchment paper/aluminium foil/countertop.

 7.  Cut it with a cookie cutter or make even sized balls and flatten.

9. Bake it for 10-12 minutes, or until light brown on the bottom, once done let it cool completely.
