Poori Masala is the perfect side dish to Poori. Aside from the puri, the potato masala is good with chapatis, and you can combine it with bread toast, batura and dosa. It is made with cooked potatoes, onions and green chillies, which are easy to prepare and delicious. For semi-solid consistency, I added basen, which is optional.
Notes
- While preparing poori masala you can adjust the potatoes and onion according to your taste.
- I cooked the potatoes in a pressure cooker, you can cook in the pressure cooker or bake in the pan, if you are cooking pressure cooker, cook until 2 whistles.
- Add the chopped ginger and garlic, do not add ginger garlic paste.
- Do not make the potatoes mushy, it may turn the curry watery.
- Adding basen is optional.
