Mayonnaise is a creamy dip or spread made from eggs, cooking oil, vinegar and lemon juice. It goes well with chicken and all kinds of fried foods and is perfect for spreading sandwiches, shawarma and burgers. You can easily make delicious mayonnaise in 1-2 minutes with the available mixer without using a hand mixer or blender.

Notes 

  • Mayonnaise is made using egg yolk, but since I mentioned the quickest way to make it, I made mayonnaise using whole eggs. 
  • You can use olive oil to make mayonnaise, or you can use refined cooking oil. Do not use sesame oil, peanut oil or coconut oil.
  • Adding garlic is optional, it is added for flavour.
  • You can grind it with garlic, pepper or any of your favourite ingredients to give the mayonnaise more flavour and aroma.
  • It will stay fresh for up to a week if refrigerated.
  • Do not use the egg directly from the fridge, use the egg at room temperature.
  • The oil will require a little more or less than the amount specified, depending on the oil you are using and its quality.
  • You can add salt and sugar to your taste.
  • Instead of adding vinegar, you can add the same amount of lemon juice.
  • When making the mayonnaise add the oil a little at a time without adding it all. The mayonnaise may not get the desired consistency.

Ingredients
  • Eggs - 2
  • Garlic cloves - 2
  • Vinegar - 1 tsp
  • Sugar - 1 tsp
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Lemon Juice - 1 tsp
  • Cooking Oil - ¾  cup - 180 ml 
Instructions
  1. Add 2 eggs to a mixing jar.

  2. Add 2 cloves of garlic.

  3. Keep at low speed and pulse for 10 seconds.

  4. Add 1 tsp of vinegar.

  5. Then add 1 tsp of sugar.

  6. Add 1 tsp of salt.

  7. Add 1 tsp of lemon juice.

  8. Add 1/4  cup of cooking oil.

  9. Put on the pulse for 10 seconds.

  10. Add 1/4 cup of cooking oil.

  11. Keep beating at high speed for 10 - 20 seconds. 

  12. Now you can see that the mayonnaise is a little thicker.

  13. Again add 1/4 cup of oil.

  14. Put on the pulse for 10 seconds.

  15. If you find the mayonnaise is thick enough, stop here, or add the oil again and beat until it reaches the desired consistency.

  16. Delicious mayonnaise is ready to serve.
