Butter Murukku / Benne Murukku / Butter Chakli

Butter Murukku is a crispy and crunchy Indian snack, generally prepared on festive seasons. Apart from that murukku is a tasty snack particularly kids’ favorite. Butter murukku is tastier than regular murukku it’s a mouth-melting snack.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup Rice flour
  • 1/2 cup Gram flour
  • 1/4 cup Fried gram flour
  • Salt as needed
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 1 tsp Jeera
  • Oil for frying
Instructions
  1. In a bowl add all the ingredients except oil.

  2. Mix everything well.

  3. Add water and make it as a smooth dough.

  4. Meanwhile, heat oil in a pan.

  5. Grease murukku maker and fill the dough and squeeze it in the oil.

  6. Fry till the bubbles off.

  7. Drain and store it in an airtight container.
