Roti Pizza/Tortilla pizza is a quick pizza, you can prepare it without an oven, maida, or yeast. Pizza is a popular food all over the world, and there are lots of variations in the pizza like thin-crust pizza, thick-crust pizza, whole wheat pizza, cauliflower crust pizza, and the same with cheese and toppings, there is no rule for variations. roti/tortilla pizza is a thin crust pizza, you can prepare with roti/tortilla.

There is no need to knead the dough, or any other time-consuming work, you can just use the leftover roti or tortilla, you can add your favorite cheese and toppings, and it is perfect for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and it is good for a mid-morning snack too, you can cook it in the pan or bake it on the oven. Common cheeses added in pizza are mozzarella and cheddar, toppings will depend on your taste like, onion and tomato are the basic toppings apart from that you can use pineapple, mushrooms, or meat.

Notes

  • While preparing this pizza you can use either homemade roti or tortilla, for tortilla or roti.
  • If available you can use 2 or 3 cheese varieties otherwise you can use the mozzarella cheese.
  • You can add any kind of toppings, even sauteed paneer is also tasty with Indian flavour.
  • Pizza sauce is available in stores or you can use instant homemade pizza sauce as shown.

Ingredients
Pizza Sauce
  • 5 tsp Tomato Ketchup
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Crushed pepper
  • 1 tsp Oregano
Pizza
  • 2 Roti/Tortilla
  • 3 slices Mozzarella cheese
  • 2 slices Cheddar cheese
  • Few Capsicum slices
  • Few Onion slices
  • Few chopped Mushrooms
Instructions
Pizza sauce
  1. In a small bowl add 5 tsp tomato ketchup, 1/4 tsp salt, and 1/2 tsp sugar.

  2. Add 1/2 tsp crushed pepper and 1 tsp oregano and mix well.

  3. Pizza sauce is ready now.

Pizza
  1. Heat a pan on a low flame, keep the roti/tortilla on it.

  2. Spread 2 slices of shredded mozzarella cheese.

  3. Put another roti/tortilla on top of it, and gently press.

  4. Spread 2 or 3 tsp of pizza sauce and spread it.

  5. Spread 2 shredded slices of cheddar cheese 1 more shredded slice of mozzarella cheese and press it.

  6. Add a few slices of different colour capsicum, mushrooms, and onion.

  7. Cover and cook for 10 - 12 minutes on low flame / Bake on 360F/180C preheated oven for 10 minutes.

  8. Yummy thin crust pizza is ready.

  • You can use either homemade roti or tortilla.
  • For tortilla/roti you can go with whole wheat flour or all-purpose flour. 
  • If available you can use 2 or 3 cheese varieties otherwise, you can use only the mozzarella cheese.
