Some Tips for Making Delicious Ghee Biscuits

  • You can use the same amount of wheat flour in place of maida while making ghee biscuits.
  • You can add sugar to your preference.
  • Ghee should be melted before being added to sugar; do not add it thickly.
  • You can substitute a quarter teaspoon of vanilla essence for the cardamom.
  • The cookies will be crisp and light golden in colour after baking for 15 to 16 minutes.
  • After taking it out of the oven, allow it to cool for ten minutes before tasting.

Ingredients
  • Sugar - ½ cup 
  • Cardamom - 2
  • Ghee - ½ cup
  • Maida - 1 cup 
Instructions
  1. Add half a cup of sugar to a mixing bowl.

  2. Add two cardamoms to that.

  3. Next, finely pulverize it.

  4. After that, add in a big bowl.

  5. Incorporate melted ½ cup of ghee. 

  6. Create a smooth mixture.

  7. Next, add 1 cup of maida.

  8. It should be kneaded identically to chapati dough.

  9. The mixture should be formed into small balls and lightly patted.

  10. On the baking sheet, they should be set apart by about an inch.

  11. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius/360 degrees Fahrenheit.

  12. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, depending on your oven.

  13. After that, take it out and let it cool for ten minutes.

  14. We've got delectable ghee cookies.

Method

Step by Step Pictures

1. To a mixing jar, add ½  cup of sugar.

2. To that, add two cardamoms.

3. Then finely grind it.

4. In a large bowl, add that.

5. Add ½  cup of ghee that has been melted.

6. Make a smooth mixture.

7. Add 1 cup of maida next.

8. Knead it similarly to chapati dough.

9. Make little balls out of the mixture and lightly pat.

10. It should be spaced approximately an inch apart on the baking sheet.

11. Set the oven’s temperature to 180C/360F. Place in the oven, and bake for 12 to 15 minutes.

12. Then remove it and give it ten minutes to cool. Delicious bakery-style ghee biscuits are ready.
