How to sprout green gram 

  • Green gram should be soaked for 8 to 12 hours.

  • Once finished, strain the water and store it in a colander-style container with holes.
  • Put a wet cloth over it.
  • Retain it for 3 to 5 days.
  • Every morning and evening, wash it once, then cover it with a fresh layer of wet cloth.

  • The green gram begins to sprout on the first day, and once it reaches the desired size, it can be used in cooking.

Some tips to make a delicious green lentil salad

  • Make a salad with only green lentils, or combine them with any sprouted grains of your choice.
  • You can sprout horse gram, millets, and other grains and legumes in addition to chickpeas, black-eye beans, and kidney beans.
  • Groundnuts and sprouted sesame seeds promote weight gain.
  • Apples, carrots, strawberries, raisins, and other dried fruits are just a few of the fruits and vegetables you can include in the salad.
  • You can also include nuts like almonds and pistachios.
  • Overcooked and fried sprouted pulses should be avoided.

Ingredients
  • Green gram - ½ cup - 100g
  • Chickpeas - ½ cup - 100g
  • Red Beans/ Rajma - ½ cup - 100g
  •  Black eye beans - ½ cup - 100g
  • Onion - 1
  • Tomato - 1
  • Orange fruit - as needed
  • Dates - 5
  • Salt - As Required
  • Pepper powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1-2 teaspoons 
Instructions
  1. Make sprouts with three different kinds of pulses in the same manner as moong.

  2. To a pressure cooker, add the lentils, then the necessary amount of water, along with salt to taste.

  3. It should boil for two whistles.

  4. After boiling, strain the water and store it separately.

  5. Add the boiled pulses and the prepared sprouted greens.

  6. Tomatoes and onions, chopped, should be added.

  7. Add the orange slices, chopped.

  8. You can add dates based on your preferences. Add them after chopping them into small pieces. 

  9. Add salt and pepper after that, to taste.

  10. Add half a lemon juice.

  11. Mix everything thoroughly before serving.

  12. It's time for a delicious sprouted green bean salad.
