Veg Hakka Noodles

Veg Hakka Noodles is made with noodles, mixed vegetables, and Indian spices, restaurant-style noodles are ready in minutes, by following simple steps., you can add kinds of vegetables like mushroom, capsicum, carrot, cabbage, potato, beans, and peas. You can make either spicy masala with onion, tomato, chili powder, and garam masala or simply add tomato sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, and pepper powder. It depends on taste and available time, homemade masala is little time-consuming.

Ingredients
  • Hakka Noodles – 1 packet/200 grams
  • Oil – 2 tsp
  • Onion – 1
  • Tomato – 1
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
  • Chili powder – ½ tsp
  • Salt as needed
  • Garam masala – ¼ tsp
  • Chopped Vegetables – 1 cup
  • Tomato sauce – 1 tsp
  • Soy sauce – ½ tsp
  • Spring onion – To sprinkle on top
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl add water and bring it to boil, add noodles and cook for 10 minutes or cook as per instructions on package. Once done, drain water, wash under cold water and keep it aside.

  2. In a large wok, heat oil and add chopped onion, saute till it becomes translucent.

  3. Add ginger garlic paste, cook till raw smell leaves off.

  4. Add chopped tomato, cook till it becomes mushy.

  5. Add chili powder, garam masala powder, salt and mix well.

  6. Now add chopped vegetables, add ¼ cup of water and cook for 5 – 10 minutes.

  7. Once done add tomato sauce, soy sauce and mix well.

  8. Add cooked noodles, mix well and turn off the flame.

  9. Sprinkle some green onion and serve hot.

Recipe Notes
  • You can add any kind of vegetables of your choice.
  • Do not overcook noodles otherwise, it will spoil the texture.
  • You can add the scrambled egg in the recipe to make egg noodles.
