Chili Masala Idli is a yummy snack or perfect dinner. It is the best way to use leftover idlis rather than idli upma. Whenever I prepare chilli masala idli in our home, the plate will be emptied immediately. It is a very simple and easy dish to prepare too. A few years ago, I tasted chilli idli in a popular hotel in Salem, I fall in love with the dish. No blogs or videos at that time, so I tried it in the home on myself, deep-fried idli the first time I tried, sauteed it next time and also added different ingredients each time, finally, I got many variations in this dish like masala idli, chilli idli, chilli masala idli etc.
