Spicy Paneer Fry

Spicy Paneer Fry is a tasty appetizer, it is quick and easy too. Paneer is the Indian cottage cheese. Paneer is always yummy, paneer butter masala, shahi paneer, paneer makni are popular all over the world. You can use homemade or store-bought paneer for paneer fry, homemade is softer than store bought.

Ingredients

  • Paneer – 200 grams
  • Chili powder – 1/2 Tsp
  • Coriander Powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Salt – as needed
  • Besan flour – 1/2 Tsp
  • Rice flour – 1/2 Tsp
  • Oil – for shallow frying
  • Ginger – a small piece
  • Green chili – 1

Method 

Step by Step Pictures

1. Cut the paneer into even size pieces.

2. Add chili powder, coriander powder, and salt.

3. Add rice flour and besan flour.

4. Sprinkle little water and combine well. Keep it aside for 10 minutes.

5. Once done, shallow fry on hot oil.

6. Cook till golden color on both sides.

7. Add chopped ginger and green chili in oil, fry till crisp.

8. Add fried ginger and green with paneer, serve hot.
