Wheat Biscuit is a yummy and crunchy biscuit. Most of the cookies are made with maida or cornflour, these biscuits are made with whole wheat flour, these are tastier than maida or cornflour biscuits. There is no need for an oven too. These cookies are deep-fried in oil. My family loved these wheat cookies a lot, this is not at all lesser than the store-bought cookies, really fresh, crunchy, and absolutely delicious.
- While preparing cookies you can use white sugar, organic sugar, or palm sugar, for all kinds of sugar instructions are the same.
- You can replace the butter with ghee to make it more aromatic and delicious.
- You can replace wheat flour with maida/corn flour.
- Use the butter at room temperature, if the butter is hard, it may spoil the dish.
- While kneading the dough, make it soft, dough should be neither hard nor watery.
- If you do not have a cookie-cutter, you can use bottle lids. You can also cut it in a square shape with a knife.
- Prepare and keep the cookies ready then start frying.
- Fry on medium flame, cook until the bubbles stop.
- When the biscuits are hot it would be soft. Cool it completely before serving so that it will be crispier.
- Store the cookies once it cools down, in an airtight container. It will be fresh for up to 10 days.
